Thames & Kosmos – Intro to Chemistry Science Kit

Description:

Spark curiosity and ignite a love of science with the Thames & Kosmos Intro to Chemistry Science Kit. Designed especially for young scientists, this engaging kit introduces children to the exciting world of chemistry through 25 fun, hands-on experiments. Using real lab tools such as test tubes, pipettes, filters, and beakers, kids will explore safe chemical reactions with everyday household items from the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry.

From chromatography experiments that separate colours to fizzing acid-base reactions that inflate balloons, every activity encourages problem-solving, observation, and scientific thinking. Children will also experiment with crystallisation, evaporation, pH indicators, and carbon dioxide reactions, while building their own plaster test tube rack to understand chemical changes in action.

With a 48-page illustrated manual, junior chemists gain step-by-step guidance, learning not only STEM skills but also improving fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and critical thinking. This kit nurtures curiosity, boosts confidence in science, and lays the foundation for future learning in chemistry and beyond.

Perfect for kids who love to ask why?, the Intro to Chemistry Set makes science fun, accessible, and endlessly rewarding.
